Debilitating periods and relentless PMS are not normal. You've just been told they are.

They're a sign your body needs real support, and you deserve more than being told “it's just part of being a woman" (Spoiler: it's not).

If your period has become the thing you dread most - the week(s) that derail your work, your relationships, and your sense of self - you're not experiencing something “normal” that you just need to push through. Your body is telling you something is wrong, and it's time someone actually listened.

I'm Nikki Freeman, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and I help women get to the bottom of painful periods and relentless PMS so they can stop dreading their cycle and start actually thriving through it.

What It Actually Feels Like to Live in Your Body Right Now

Every month, like clockwork, your body turns against you.

The mood swings that make you feel like a stranger in your own life.

The anxiety that has you spiraling awake at 3am.

The cramping that has you doubled over and unable to focus.

The bloating that means your clothes don't fit for a week.

The fatigue so heavy you cancel plans, call in sick, or just survive until it passes.

You've probably been told this is normal. That you should get on birth control. Maybe you tried it and the side effects created a whole new set of problems.

Maybe you've tried tracking your cycle but never quite understood what you were looking for.

Maybe you've resolved to just accept that this is what being a woman is supposed to feel like.

It isn't.

The deeper frustration isn't just the physical pain - it's the unpredictability, the loss of control over your own schedule, and the heartbreak of knowing that every month you'll lose days you can't get back.

You're capable of so much more than what your cycle is currently allowing.

What's actually happening is that your symptoms aren't random, they're signals.

Your body is trying to tell you something, and with the right support, those signals can be decoded and addressed at the root.

I've Been Where You Are and I Know the Way Out

I spent years in my own body that felt like a stranger's. Major PMS, blood sugar crashes, anxiety, migraines.

I tried every framework that promised relief and kept finding myself back at square one.

Not because I wasn't trying hard enough, but because I was working against what my body actually needed.

When I found Nutritional Therapy and started addressing root causes rather than symptoms, something shifted.

Not overnight - but for real this time.

I went from dreading my cycle every month to genuinely understanding my body and feeling the difference. And I became a little obsessed with helping other women do the same.

That's what I now do for my clients.

My approach isn't about restriction, supplements stacked to the ceiling, or protocols copied from someone else's case. It's about understanding your body specifically and giving it what it actually needs.

Here's exactly what we do together and why it works.

We begin with a comprehensive intake that maps your cycle history, digestion, energy patterns, mood, stress, and sleep. This is where we identify what your symptoms are actually communicating and establish a clear picture of which foundational systems need the most targeted support. You'll leave this phase with a framework for understanding your own body that most women have never been given.

Phase 1: Baseline Blueprint

Phase 2: Rebuild the Foundations

This is the core work. Using personalized nutrition and lifestyle shifts, we systematically strengthen the systems that directly govern your hormone signaling - blood sugar stability, digestive function, nutrient sufficiency, sleep and stress resilience. You'll have ongoing support and accountability as we implement changes and track how your body responds across your cycle. This is where things start to feel different.

As your symptoms improve and your body finds its regulation, we refine the approach based on real-time feedback and build the practices that will sustain your results long after our work together ends. You'll leave with a clear understanding of your body, your cycle, and how to support yourself, without needing someone else to manage it for you.

Phase 3: Refine, Sustain, and Own It

Ready to find your root cause and finally feel like yourself again?

What Life Looks Like When Your Cycle Works With You

Imagine knowing your period is coming and feeling calm about it rather than bracing for impact.

Imagine going to bed the week before your cycle without dread because you know what to expect and your body has what it needs to move through it smoothly.

This is what becomes possible when we address the underlying causes rather than manage the symptoms month after month:

  • No more cramps that have you bedridden with a heating pad or popping ibuprofen like candy

  • Stable mood and energy across your entire cycle, not just one good week

  • Relief from the anxiety and depression that hijack the week(s) before your period

  • No more bloating, breast tenderness, or feeling like you've been hit by a truck

  • A clear understanding of how to eat, move, and rest in ways that support your hormones specifically

  • The ability to show up fully in your work and relationships regardless of where you are in your cycle

  • And most importantly, finally feeling like yourself again

This isn't about becoming symptom-free and then forgetting everything.

It's about understanding your body at a level that gives you lasting autonomy over your own health.

And you know what? That's kind of everything.

Don’t just take my word for it, take theirs…

There's a world where you don't have to struggle half of your life…

"I would definitely urge literally any woman to do this. I would tell her that there's a world where you don't have to struggle half of your life with unmanageable symptoms just because you're a woman. I had no idea that was the case but I'm on the other side! It is the single best investment you can make that will affect your day to day happiness, your physical and mental well being, and make you a better mother, friend, partner, daughter."

I had never thought about preventing my symptoms, only chasing fixes…

"I was always chasing fixes that would relieve my symptoms. I had never thought about what would actually prevent my symptoms from occurring in the first place until I started learning about nutritional therapy. The results were pretty shocking."

I’ve built a foundation to handle whatever life throws my way…

"My day-to-day life is so much more enjoyable now. I'm much more patient with my kids, able to enjoy them instead of always feeling overwhelmed. My body no longer perceives stress as a threat — I'm able to take it all in stride and have the confidence to know that I've built a foundation to handle whatever life throws my way."

The Month-by-Month Cost of Waiting

Every month you spend bracing for your cycle is a month of lost productivity, missed experiences, and accumulated exhaustion. The physical symptoms are real, but so is everything else it costs you: the relationships strained, the opportunities passed over, the version of yourself you're not fully able to be, the one beautiful life you’re not able to live to the fullest.

And here's the thing… these patterns don't tend to resolve on their own. Every month you wait is another month your body is asking for support it isn't getting.

You don't need another year of managing this. You need a clear path through it.

You May Be Wondering...

What if I’ve already tried everything?

I get it. You've probably tried a lot. But most of what gets recommended for hormonal issues - birth control, tracking apps, lab testing, or the classic "your labs are normal" - is aimed at managing symptoms, not actually figuring out why you're dealing with this in the first place. Nutritional Therapy works differently. We're looking at what's actually driving the disruption. If you've never worked this way, you haven't tried everything yet.

Do I have to give up foods I love or follow some crazy restrictive protocol?

I would never ask you to do that! (You can keep your coffee, girl) No elimination or restrictive diets, no protocol copied from someone else's body, no laundry list of supplements or thousands of dollars on lab tests. This is about adding in the right support for your specific body in a way that's actually sustainable.

How do I know this will actually work for me?

What I can honestly say is that this work is a genuinely powerful reset for your health, and it's deeply personalized to you. That said, just being real - it requires commitment and a genuine desire to feel better. Ultimately, you're the one in the driver's seat. What I can promise is that I will give you the tools needed to get there. And we do that by starting with a thorough intake to understand your unique patterns, and refining the approach in real time based on how your body actually responds. Every shift we make meets you exactly where you are and is on your terms.

Is this covered by insurance?

It's not, but you can check with your provider about using your HSA/FSA. That said, getting to & addressing the underlying cause of things almost always costs less in the long run than years of appointments, prescriptions, and supplements that aren't quite working, not to mention the health issues that can arise from leaving things unaddressed. A discovery call is a great place to chat through the details and see if it's a good fit.

Hi, I'm Nikki

I'm a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and I specialize in women's cycle health - the intersection of hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle that determines how you feel every single month. I love helping women reconnect with their bodies and their cycles, and the way our cycles are literally designed to mirror the rhythms of nature never stops blowing my mind. Basically I'm that sorta crunchy girlfriend who is still rooted in reality and doesn't care for extremes.

I came to this work because I was legit struggling… major PMS (like personality-shifting mood swings), chronic migraines since the age of 15, daily blood sugar crashes (hangry much?!), anxiety from major career burnout, and so many years of trying every diet the wellness world threw at me (shoutout to growing up in the era of low-rise jeans and low-fat everything. We were doing our best and also feeling terrible about ourselves). Nothing ever stuck, nothing ever really worked, and I spent a long time confused about what "healthy" was even supposed to feel like.

Finding holistic nutrition changed everything for me. Not overnight, but for real. I finally felt good and finally felt at home in my body, and I became completely obsessed with helping other women find the same thing.

When I'm not geeking out about hormones and holistic health, you can find me outside during the day (maybe hiking, maybe just sunbathing) and in the evening I’m likely on the couch with my basset hound Beatrice, probably watching Bravo and loving every minute.

I want you to know that your symptoms aren't your fault, and they're nothing to be afraid of. They're information. My job is to help you understand what your body is asking for, and guide you in giving it what it actually needs.
